NAMI South Suburbs of Chicago

About Us

We are the local Chicago South Suburban affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, also known as NAMI South Suburbs of Chicago.

Our organization was formed on June 14th of 1984.

NAMI South Suburbs of Chicago offers numerous free classes throughout the year, including our popular "Family-To-Family" classes. The Family-To-Family course is one of NAMI's most effective tools to help families deal with serious mental illness by providing information and understanding.  The courses are taught by trained NAMI members who have personally experienced the impact of mental illness on their families. You can find information about our Family-To-Family course by clicking here.
